Vision2020 West, the annual conference of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, will celebrate Grace Brethren works related to integrated ministries, church planting, and leadership development when it gathers this summer in Indian Wells, Calif. Organized around the Commitment to Common Mission, the week will focus on the topics of Church Planting, Leadership Development, and Integrated Ministry.

The conference will be held July 28- August 1, at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort.

Sunday will be about Integrated Ministry featuring John Teevan, Keith Minier, the Eagle Commission, Grace College and Seminary, the Brethren Missionary Herald Company, and an assortment of afternoon seminars that encourage individuals to meet the spiritual, social, and physical need of those we have been called to love.

On Monday, the focus will be on Leadership Development. Randy Smith, GBCanada, the Association of Grace Brethren Ministers, and CE National will look at this vital subject. Monday afternoon seminars will provide practical training in how to develop leaders.

Church Planting will be the theme of Tuesday and Wednesday. Go2 Ministries, Encompass World Partners, Dave Guiles, Tim Boal, and guest speaker, Larry Osborne, author of the book, Sticky Church, will end the conference with a strong focus on church planting. Seminars on Tuesday afternoon will be all about church planting, too.

“Vision2020West is also about having a good time!,” says Tom Avey, who is planning the conference. “Do you like to golf? Grace College and Seminary and Grace Village are sponsoring free golf for Friday through Tuesday of conference.”

Corporation meetings of the various national organizations affiliated with the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches will be included, often as part of a meal or special event. In addition throughout the week, Grace Brethren military chaplains will be introduced, new missionaries will be commissioned, and there will be plenty of opportunities to fellowship with friends
